Merces Bundy provides operational, administrative, and accounting support services to Garca as well as other clients and
companies.
She started her career at Royal Bank Canada in 1986 in the Capital Markets division where she held a number of progressively
senior positions until her departure in 2001. During this period, Merces worked within some of the most highly volatile and
stressful environments within the bank and on its trading floor.
Merces’ primary roles and responsibilities at RBC included ensuring that the Bank’s proprietary trading open-market positions were always balanced and within defined risk parameters. This required the ability to quantify real-time market exposure in an extremely dynamic environment and to monitor ongoing trading operations. It also included the constant reconciling of cash differences to identify when discrepancies occurred so that immediate actions could be implemented to negate risk to the Bank.
Merces graduated from George Brown College in 1985 and started her banking career immediately after completion of her studies.
